Alison Gannett’s Global Cooling Ski Adventure Show
A one-hour multi-media presentation (45 minute presentation, plus 15 for Q and A)
Entertain yourself with one woman’s journey to save the world in this multimedia adventure presentation. In addition to many World Champion “extreme” freeskiing titles and starring ski film roles, Alison Gannett has dedicated the majority of her life to saving and enjoying our snow and water.
In addition to designing and building the first straw bale house in a National Historic District and converting the world’s first solar-powered plug-in-hybrid SUV, she has led ski expeditions to document glacial recession all over the world. An advocate of walking the talk, she has reduced her carbon footprint in half, including growing and raising almost all her own food.
This talk is aimed at entertainment and fun through jaw-dropping video clips, while also illustrating the actual reality of climate change – many lines Alison has skied are now gone forever in just ten years.
The goal is to INSPIRE people to make simple choices in their daily lives to help save our snow and our water for future generations.
